How to connect Google Analytics 4
Site traffic and conversions alongside your ad data.
Steps
- Open Settings → Data sources.
- Find Google Analytics 4 in the catalog and click connect.
- Sign in with the Google account that can see your GA4 property, and approve read access.
- Pick the property to sync.
What it adds
Ad platforms tell you what happened up to the click; GA4 tells you what happened after it — sessions, engagement, conversions on your site. With both connected, the analysis can compare platform-reported results against what your site actually recorded.
Troubleshooting
- The property list is empty — the Google account you signed in with has no access to the GA4 property. Have an admin grant it viewer access in GA4, then reconnect.
- One GA4 property = one data source against your plan's allowance.
- GA4 and the Prooflytics Pixel are complementary, not either/or: GA4 is your existing analytics; the Pixel is first-party measurement that feeds attribution directly.
