How to connect Google Ads
Search and display campaigns — connect with your Google sign-in.
Steps
- Open Settings → Data sources.
- Find Google Ads in the catalog and click connect.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to your Google Ads account, and approve read access.
- Choose which ad account (or accounts) to sync.
What syncs
Daily performance for your search and display campaigns — spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and the derived metrics. Combined with Meta and GA4, this is what gives the analysis a cross-channel view instead of a per-platform one.
Troubleshooting
- No accounts to pick. The Google account you signed in with is not linked to the Google Ads account you expected — this is common when an agency or a colleague set up the advertising. Sign in with a Google account that has at least read access in Google Ads, or have the account owner grant your Google account access first.
- Working through a manager (MCC) account? Connect with a sign-in that can reach the client account you want to sync.
- The source shows as needing attention. Reconnect from Settings → Data sources — the same short flow, and your history in Prooflytics is kept.
- Each ad account counts as one data source against your plan's allowance. See What counts as a data source.
