Hypotheses — the HADI board

Run marketing experiments as a managed backlog instead of a chat thread.

Hypotheses is a board for running marketing experiments the disciplined way: Hypothesis → Action → Data → Insight. Instead of ideas living in someone's head or a chat thread, each one is a card with a lifecycle.

The lifecycle

A hypothesis moves through: backlog → draft → in sprint → in validation → and finally lands as confirmed or failed — or is rejected along the way. Confirmed and failed both matter: the board is also your knowledge base of what has been tried, so the same failed idea does not get proposed fresh every quarter.

Sprints

Group hypotheses into sprints to timebox the work. A sprint answers "what are we testing right now?" — and the activity log keeps who moved what and when.

Where hypotheses come from

  • Write your own — the classic path.
  • Generate with AI — the board can draft hypotheses from your data.
  • Import from Competitor tracking — when a competitor's advertising shows a move worth testing, send it to the board from the competitor's page. See Competitor tracking.

Writing a hypothesis that can actually fail

The format forces the discipline: state what you believe, what you will do, what data will decide it, and what result would prove you wrong. If no result could prove it wrong, it is not a hypothesis yet.
